After months of anticipation the day I stepped on stage at the Masters ⭕️ finally came on Saturday. I learned over my 16 years of competing that the best way for me to feel happy, satisfied, rewarded and proud after a competition is to set personal goals that I can achieve through controlling the outcome during my prep.

My goal for this event was to add size in my legs and glutes, to come in fuller in my glutes and upper body than last year, particularly the Tampa Pro . Knowing I would have more stage time. I also wanted to own the Olympia stage looking even more confident and polished in my posing this time. I definitely achieved my goals and I am very happy and grateful for that to so many!

Above all, I am grateful to have Shawn as my rock, my solid ground when mine shakes and, trust me, it shook a lot during this prep all the way to backstage!. I have been prepping for this event of a lifetime since December last year. Lots of hurdles had to be surmounted particularly due to an injury to my knee; Shawn and I had to manipulate training techniques, type or movements, volume, intensity and be very careful with each and every lower body workout. Lots of tension during training sessions. By the end of June my knee finally got much better.

Lots of emotional ups and downs came with the hurdles that dampened my confidence, all of the way to backstage yesterday. Thanks to the years of competitive experience and Shawn’s patience we managed to reset our focus every time. I couldn’t be more grateful to all of our CMC Fitness community of friends and clients who helped us in so many ways to travel to Romania from Alaska smoothly. At that moment on stage you were all with me in my heart and I felt your love.

I am grateful for the promoters who have put on flawless production. I am now setting new goals for this year and next and I’m looking forward to getting back to work on them.
